Hello Viper Fans!  This week the Vipers would like to feature our Bantam B Team. The Bantam B Vipers played in the Steel City Shootout in Bethlehem, PA January 13 -15.

In the first game of the Steel City Shootout, the Vipers boasted a shut-out of 1-0 against Camilus.  Tony Campisi gave the Vipers a goal with a beautiful slap shot just inside the blue line in the 2nd period.  That evening the team took a trip to the PP&L Center to watch a Phantom/Bears game.

The Vipers played two games on Sunday.  Sunday morning the Vipers were victorious 2-1 against LV Rebels. Robby Santa gave us both goals.  Logan Brunner had the assist on the first goal.  Sunday evening the Vipers got another shutout winning 4-0 at the PPL Center against LV Phantom.  The first goal was in the first period from Max Dutkiewicz with an assist from Logan Brunner.  The second period there were no goals scored.  The third period the Vipers had three goals, from Nick Duerrich unassisted, next from Robby Santa with an assist from Connor McHugh and the final goal came from Ty Eckenroad with an assist from Nolan Musti.  With this win we were heading into the Championship game in 1st place.

Monday, the Vipers faced Camilus in the Championship game.  The boys fought hard but came up short with a 2-1 loss giving them a 2nd place finish in the overall Tournament.  Michael Castle scored and was assisted by Robby Santa in the 3rd period.

The Steel City Shootout was a great event for this Bantam B Vipers.  The team played outstanding defense and saw the best goaltending of the year.  Only giving up three goals in 4 games!  The team had a great time hanging out together all weekend.  The team played x-box, shopped, watched movies, had a pizza party and help to celebrate Coach Campisi's birthday with a Birthday Cake - Coach Campi was able to blow out ALL the candles in one blow!

Thanks to all the coaches, and manager of the team for all that you do!
