Andy brings a wide range of hockey experience, knowledge, and focus on player development to this position. His hockey background includes playing Youth hockey, New England Prep School hockey, Junior hockey in the US and Canada as well as a bit of minor pro hockey. His coaching experience includes working with players from Mites to ACHA college hockey, working in the USHL, and running a hockey-related business on a national scale. Andy has worked with players at Tier 2, Tier 1, junior and college levels over the years in a variety of capacities. Andy will be focused on supporting all Viper coaching staffs and players in all areas of the game on and off the ice. He is very development oriented and cares about the success of every Viper player.
Adam Flod, is currently the head coach of both the Capital City Vipers Peewee A travel team and the Bantam Rec team. Coach Flod is originally from Minnesota where he began playing hockey at a very young age and grew up playing on indoor and outdoor rinks with his hockey family and friends. He has coached teams within the Viper organization from mites through bantams on both the travel and rec level teams. His philosophy has always been on developing good people who have a passion to play hockey through consistent work ethic, with a focus on having fun, and practicing good habits.
Jack is a former Viper player himself who brings a passion for teaching the game at this level to our organization. Jack will be supporting our Mite teams across the board, helping our coaching staffs and our youngest players build a solid foundation and passion for the game!
Wayne is a Central PA native who has been involved in our hockey community in a coaching capacity since 1993. His coaching experience ranges from Mites through Midgets and includes both the tier 2 and tier 1 levels as well as coaching at the Junior and collegiate levels. Wayne brings extensive hockey knowledge and a development-oriented approach which will benefit our squirt players and coaches.
Tom is a level 5 USA Hockey coach who brings a proven track record of success and player development to the Vipers. He has coached at the travel, high school and ACHA college level. Tom is the founder of the Vipers and brings a winning attitude and a wealth of experience to our club. In addition to his role as coordinator, Tom is also the Vipers Bantam Travel head coach.
Drew is originally from Central PA, was a goaltender at the ACHA Division 1 college level and brings 7+ years of goalie coaching experience to our club. Drew’s focus will once again be working with our goalies both in groups as well as 1 on 1.
Kelly is an experienced skating coach both with figure skaters as well as hockey players. She works with Viper players and teams throughout the season focusing on skating technique, edge work, and power skating.
