Who are the Capital City Vipers

 

The Vipers are South Central PA’s premier youth hockey organization.   We are a non-profit organizational that provides an opportunity for players to develop their skills as hockey players at the highest level.   The Vipers are part of the Delaware Valley Hockey League (DVHL), and use the DVHL rules and follow the guidelines of the USA Hockey.  There are two types of programs that are offered; recreational and travel teams.  This is offered to children from age 5 to age 16.  The Vipers are committed to raising teams and players that honor and respect the game and respect other players, families and coaches.


What are the ages and levels for the Capital City Vipers?

The Vipers will have teams in the 2017-18 season) Practice for the Vipers begins in August, and games will begin in October. 

The age and levels are determined by USA Hockey.

  • 6u – 8u – Mite (Birth Years 2009 and 2010)
  • 10u – Squirt (Birth Years 2007 and 2008)
  • 12u – Peewee (Birth Years 2005 and 2006)
  • 14u – Bantam (Birth Years 2003 and 2004)
